Levantine Cultural Center, founded in Los Angeles in 2001, presents contemporary literary, visual and performing arts programs that explore the Middle East and North Africa. The center also offers music, dance and language classes and serves as a resource for media seeking alternative information on the region that stretches from Morocco to Afghanistan. Levantine Cultural Center is a pan-cultural initiative that represents both majority Arab/Muslim and minority cultures, in an effort to foster dialogue and coexistence for a more peaceful Middle East.
